Discovery accelerates query construction and triage, but a defensible literature search still requires human decisions and a reproducible record.
- Current provider search covers PubMed and Europe PMC; it is not a search of every scholarly database or the open web.
- An imported metadata record is not the same as readable full text. Summary, Q&A, and Review are more complete when a usable PDF is available.
- For systematic reviews, document final queries, dates, databases, filters, deduplication, and screening decisions outside the generated ranking.
- Always check eligibility and relevance against your protocol rather than treating a relevance score as an inclusion decision.

Yes. Discovery shows the resolved PubMed-style query so you can inspect it, revise the concepts, and preserve the final version in your search documentation.
Does importing a paper include its full text?
Not necessarily. Discovery can import a paper record from its metadata. Full-text analysis requires a readable document, which you may need to upload or otherwise make available in the workspace.
Can Discovery replace a systematic-search strategy?
No. It can speed up query construction and candidate discovery, but review authors remain responsible for coverage, reproducibility, screening, and protocol adherence.
